WNBF Men's Physique Pro
I was introduced to Ryan and Team SUF at the 2015 WNBF Autumn Explosion. I competed against one of his athletes and we placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. Ryan and I had a very brief interaction backstage and I assumed that was it. A few weeks later at the Monster Mash, I was talking to the same competitor backstage when Ryan approached us and remembered me from the previous show. His attention to detail in what he had to say made me realize he was the real deal. As luck would have it, the coach I had been with didn’t bother making the trip to Massachusetts for the show. Backstage I hung out a bit with Team SUF and felt welcomed, as an outsider. I knew I wanted to be part of this team and reached out to Ryan a few weeks after the season ended. From that day on, we’ve had nearly 3 years working together and have been through it all. We’ve dealt with close calls, controversial placings and everything in between, culminating in my WNBF Men’s Physique Pro Card win in 2019.
Ryan’s resume speaks for itself, and I wouldn’t be the competitor I am today without his guidance and support. In an industry full of people only looking out for themselves, Ryan is as real as it gets- he’s always straight forward, brutally honest at times and that’s one of the things I respect most about him. He genuinely cares about those around him and gives 100% in everything he does. I not only consider Ryan my coach, but a good friend as well- a rarity in this line of business. I look forward to seeing what he has planned next for me and the rest of Team SUF.
