Sci-Unison Fitness Cookbook

Prep Time: 20-25 minutes

Nutrition Facts. Male / Female

Protein: 50 grams / 40 grams

Carbs: 35 grams / 30 grams

Fat: >5 grams

Notes: Great choice for dinner. Super low in fat. High in protein. Perfectly balanced meal

 

Ingredients

  • Ahi tuna steak (5 oz.; 4oz)
  • Mussels (10)
  • Broccoli rob (1 cup)
  • Red potatoes (5 oz.; 4oz)
  • Spray butter
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • Minced garlic
  • Blackening seasoning
  • Pam cooking spray

 

Preparation:

  • Batter tuna steak on both sides with blackening powder (seasoning). Spray a coat of Pam cooking spray on a pan and sear the tuna steak for 3 minutes on each side. You can sear for longer or shorter depending on preference. Most Ahi Tuna steaks are sashimi grade and can be served partially raw.
  • Place cleaned mussels in a pan with roughly an inch of water, minced garlic and spray butter. Cook on high heat until mussels open.
  • Place broccoli rabe in a pot with water. Bring to boil and allow broccoli rabe to a light green color. Drain the water and place broccoli rabe in a bowl or dish. In a separate Pam coated pan, cook and mix garlic and onions for a few minutes. Upon completion pour over broccoli rabe.
  • Cut potatoes into fourths and cook in a Pam coated pan. Add a few dashes of sea salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Be sure to flip potatoes. Keep pan covered to reduce cooking time. Cook until golden brown.
